Title: repair prometheus pci busboard card
Post by: Roger_S on September 04, 2008, 07:51:08 PM
I found a dead prometheus2 pci buboard card. I ran some tests and it seems that one of the 2 larger chips named Altera Max does not output anything. I think they are eproms and that they hold somekind of firmware though. Is it possible to replace these?

CPLDs rather than EPROMs. Repair would require the right code to program - anyone?

Michael Boehmer might have the code or you can try contacting Matay directly - otherwise I see little chance...

Did you power the board? If you don't give it power through the board's special connector it won't be recognized by your miggy.
