Good morning guys,
Spent the night with my good friend insomnia last night. Did a new podcast. I'm still learning, so be gentle, but I would like to know if I'm on the right track.
click here. (http://segwayne.wordpress.com/2008/08/30/id-give-good-money-if-hed-shut-up/)
Some {bleep} rang the doorbell and rudely woke me up at 8:42am this Sunday morning, waking me from the sleep I'd FINALLY obtained at about 3am. Is there no one out there that understands the f***ing words "no solicitation" any more?

I hope you gave him/her a good bollocking!

Whilst I'm not into this whole podcast/blog thingamajig, I had a listen and was quite impressed, well done :-)

Am actually quite impressed by that Wayne, you've a nice easy going voice and your accent is gentle on the ear.
The review itself was enough to get a good overall picture of the iPhone's capabilites and presented in a clear and non technical way.
One question though, is the iPhone's battery life *that* bad?
All in all, well played sir, well played!

That podcast was great.
You should have your own tech blog and also consider doing video reviews.
I think you would do well in that arena.

Thanks very much guys. I appreciate the feedback.

Yes, the battery is that bad, *if* you actually use it for it's intended purposes. If you never touch it except as a phone, the battery's great. Get on the net or use the push mail features and you will need to think of it as a very small laptop computer where battery life is concerned. 3 or 4 hours between charges, tops.
@Gadgetmaster
Hadn't seen you in a while.. Welcome back. One of the problems I'm facing is content. Stuff to talk about every week. While I'd love to, I can't purchase a new "iphone" every week to talk about it. I thought about making a podcast about my soap opera site, but that too gets rather empty wherein content is concerned.
I could also use a "`cast mate" or someone local to work with as a radio team, but no one here shares my interestes and the guys around here locally have a tendency to make me feel like an idiot where politics is concerned, so... what to talk about... hmmmm.
Hell, I even thought about an Amiga podcast, but there's so little going on any more officially or even unofficially that doing an Amiga-related podcast feels pointless. You'd better believe that had AI actually done anything I'd be all about it.
Any ideas?

What about tech news, or rather, an editorial based on big things happening within the tech scene?
It's always refreshing to hear other peoples insights into these sorts of things?
Cheeper then buying tonnes of hardware too I'd wager

I think I should add that Version 2.1 of the iPhone software has improved my battery life significantly :-)

It may have improved your battery life, but don't you think it was a bit wreckless to install the iPhone firmware on yourself? :-P

Well, when I was a kid, I used to mix up Dutch with Gronings, and when I said "zee", which means "said" in Gronings, but "sea" in Dutch, my dad asked which sea, the North sea or the Wadden Sea
