I want to install Amithlon but know that Amithlon has a bad past.
If I cannot buy Amithlon can I piece it together?
What parts are open source and what is closed?
Is there a way to resurect this thing?
-
No.
Look to common sources of promiscuous software, like torrent sites... Once you haver the original ISO there are updated kernals and software to install to bring it up to speed,
Amithlon still has the best (widest) hardware support of any amiga flavour i believe?

Thanks, I will have high speed by tommorrow and will get a torrent client. I would prefer to buy a cd instead though.
I will have to take my time with this.

TOS, Terms of Service?
Really??

I am not interested in stealing anything.
I will wait as long as I can to get it the right way.

@mihcael
Just to be an a**: I think WinUAE supports most hardware ;P

@bloodline
Didn't you get the memo?
amiga.org no longer gives a damn about piracy/warez.

Unfortunately no one has answered my question.

Computers are so powerful now, that running WinUAE on a modern PC with up-to-date graphics and audio drivers would probably outperform Amithlon on the same hardware.

@ bloodline:
Thanks, I wish UAE had its own OS instead Linux,Win,etc.
I may go with Xamiga instead.
Good day.

I like Aros and would like to make it one of my primary OSes. I will have do download the latest release and see how stable it is.
