Title: Reliving Amiga Glory
Post by: Drifter on August 22, 2008, 03:37:24 AM
Hi,
I had an Amiga from 1988 to 1991 when I had to sell my sold my A500 so I could afford a PC for compatibility with work.  Recently I was bored and thought it would be fun to play some of the old Amiga games.  I picked up an A2000 on E-bay along with a bunch of pieces and parts and have been trying to turn it into a decent gaming Amiga for WHLoad.

My only experience is with KS 1.3 but from reading this board it sounds like I would have a lot fewer problems if I upgraded to at least KS 2.04  Is that the consensus?

I think a 1200 would be a better gaming platform for WHDLoad.

If you want to use WHDLoad then you need at least 2.0 anyway. While you're at it you might as well go to 3.1.

an A2000 for WHDLoad...
get a 3.1rom chip,
hard disk,
extra memory,
and you should be all set! :-)
