Title: Amiga battery replacement?
Post by: wa9yoz on August 21, 2008, 01:56:26 PM
Greetings all!...will the Panasonic 3v lithium coin battery, #CR-2032, work as replacement for the Amiga's battery? Anyone tried it?

You should only do that if you have a rechargeable CR2032. Otherwise you should use a circuit that prevents the battery from being charged (I guess a simple diode should do the trick). DJbase manufactures ready-to-go adaptors (look here) (http://www.amiga.org/gallery/photo.php?lid=3869), maybe you can contact him.
