Title: OS4 A1200 probs and Q's

Before i start i have to say what a nice looking OS it is. Well done Hyperion.

1. is there anyway to get the fast ata to work on OS4? Anyone tried?

2. before i install OS4 my floppy DF0 works. But when the install has finished DF0 vanishes and no longer works. Ive tried the floppy fix checkbox on and off and it makes no difference.

3.whats the update on getting other cards other than the voodoo to work in a mediator? Anything official or unofficial hacks?

Are you saying... I CAN HAZ fINALlY OS4.? on my A1200 with a mediator+voodoo?

If that's true... wow.. I'm flabbergasted!

Back in year 2000 (? - around the time the mediator got out? I'm not good with numbers in general) I went to one of this country's last (Official?) Amiga "stores" (A guy who lived next door to his Amiga showroom, basically)...

And he told me back then:
 -"Yes sir!, this (expensive) baby can get your A1200 run OS4 when it comes out"
I thought, sure why not, PCI extensions, accelerated 3D graphics, and next generation aos proof, Why not!?
 ... some years went and I finally realized that the OS4 dream _seemed_ nothing but vanished.. I followed a few news now and then .. the A1 came out.. I got off for a while just thinking that the man in the store back then sold me the mediator on false promises.. but?! no?

How much, and where can I order? (and f*** if DF0 is gone :P)

You need a blizz ppc card to run OS4.

Well.. I should have known back then that an 060 wasn't enough for the future OS4...

No problems here with FastATA MK-III.

FastATA III works fine with OS4 for me.

For the floppy drive, there is a fix that has to be enabled.

Uncomment the line in A1200Kickstart (Or something similar)
that deals with this.

It will be obvious when you see it.

With Elbox drivers, I have had working Voodoo5500, Radeon9200, Spider II USB, Fastethernet Card, and a Terratec 512i sound card.

Currently can't get the sound card to work properly since I upgraded from SX to TX, but that is being looked into by Elbox.
