Title: How much is worth an A2000, Monitor, keyboard & mouse
Post by: dfreniche on August 05, 2008, 10:18:32 AM
I don't know yet its state. Don't ask me about battery leakages, don't know if it's expanded...
Then, let's think in a vanilla A2000, with monitor (1084), keyboard, mouse and some games.
What's a fair price for this unit?
What will you pay?

Also, I own 2 A1200 (one with a Blizard IV 68030, 32 MB, the other with an Apollo '030 and 8 MB), an A600 and an A500. Is this Amiga Greed or the machine worths a look?

Thanks in advance!

I can't tell you what your particular machine is worth but I've seen them go for over £70 on fleabay.

I've just sold a 1.3 ECS 2000HD with 1 Meg Chip Ram, 2 internal floppies, A2091 with 2 meg ram (no harddrive) and a further Fast Ram board fitted with 2 Meg Ram. No keyboard, harddrive, mouse, A520 or leads of any kind for £45. Which I thought was a fair price for me and the purchaser.

I paid $50USD for one with a RCA monitor not 1084. Same specifications and battery leakage that I had to clean by removing the motherboard. She works as of now, even though the 68000 socket got corroded the CPU still makes contact through some miracle.

Thanks a lot. 100 Eur seemed like a ripe-off to me... I said to myself: better go and ask for a second opinion...

Thanks, Davideo and NLandas, and all other people here at A.org!
