Title: 2 floppies on the floppy header in an A1200 tower?
Post by: Astral on August 03, 2008, 10:19:45 AM
Is it possible to connect 2 floppy drives to the floppy drive header on an A1200? I assume that other big box Amiga's allow it, so it should be fine on the 1200, but just want to check first...

You need to have the circuit that is in external drives for the second floppy drive.

Missing: motor control latch, id pulse generator.

Plans on Aminet, look for the add external drive-projects on doc/hard

None of the "small box" Amigas support two drives from the internal header by default.
