I was checking around some Satriani and Malmsteen videos on you tube and decided to check for amiga games. By accident found Flink by Psygnosis, whose graphics are just absolutely amazing.
Didn't even knew this game existed, don't think it's very well known. So check it out...:)

Link please?
-
Did you mean Flink (http://hol.abime.net/577)?
It does look pretty impressive. I hope to find a copy eventually.
-
I f*ed up the name, it's Flink not Fling, just type Amiga and Flink and it will appear...
-
I guess the movements are not that special but we're just not used to that many colors (or the appearance of) on Amiga games.
-
Yeah. 8 bitplane plus copper is nice color.
-
Just in case anyone is interested ... there's a copy for sale on Ebay

Thats a pirate copy, I can make my own bootleg copy for free and print a nice booklet too. lol
-
Flink CD32 is nice. Written by the same people who did Lionheart. Erwin Kloibhoffer and Henk Neiborg
The CD32 version was a "poorer" port of the MegaCD version though! Lots of effects and music were dropped :(

Yeah it's those assholes from Swindon. Butterfly Media / Vdirect / Forematt / Epic Marketing etc. etc. Someone should report them to Trading Standards / FAST. They make literally millions each year!

I think that this game inspired the "Lomax" for Playstation. I played the Flink game and the comparation is inevitable.

Lomax was programmed & pixelled by the same team.
-
It does indeed look pretty good. But the lack of music makes it a bit poor imo.

I'll stick with my original copy but thanks for the offer :-D

I think the lack of music in this YouTube video might be because they do not have a proper CD32 disc image... or the emulator recorder they are using does not record CDDA?

Very nice games indeed. Playability is very similar to Rayman.
-
Yeah could be. Will try it out some time on my CD32.

Log into eBay and report their auctions for piracy and keep reporting them. eBay does pull a lot of auctions because of it.
I just had and auction pulled because someone saw that there were backup copies of the floppies in with the original games. Even though all of the originals were also included someone decided that the backups violated copyright and reported the auction. Personally, I think that is a little anal, considering the new owner would have all the originals and in most/all? Countries the rights to make archival copies but to each their own I guess.
Obviously, just selling copies alone is piracy and should be reported.
