Title: what is this hardware for?

Hi,
I was givin a peice of hardware I guess for music work but not sure what it does or how to  use it.
It is  A AmiLink box model CIP3 looks like 3 super s video ports on back and one coxal cable jack and a place for a power supply.
Any ideas on this?

Xanaa: S-Video and coaxial jacks? That's video, not audio... Can you give a picture? Or a link to something similar from the BBoAH? (Big Book of Amiga Hardware)

My quick guess is that it's a digitser, frame grabber, etc...

Edit: Doh, I guess the coax could be anything, but IMHO, S-Video was never used for anything but, errr, video.

This hardware is in a metal box aprox  12 X 6 inches and 4 inches deep. I opened it up and there is one large board in there with chips and another placed on top of that one. The chips have a sticker on them  RGB Computer & video .
Will try to get a photo of unit this weekend.

 You can always try to use it as a S-VHS output to a TV set.

 If it works, of course.

Those are not S-video, those are RS-422.
My guess, anyways. :-)

And S-video has little/nothing to do with S-VHS btw.

You gotta host them somewhere and put the URL in. You could even put one in the AO gallery if you want.
