Title: can pc hard drives be read on real amigas?

just as the title says, is there any way that a FAT formatted hard drive can be read on a real amiga. not for booting, just to copy files across.

Yep, you just need a mountlist and a filesystem (http://home.elka.pw.edu.pl/~mszyprow/programy/). fat95 and CrossDOS7 are suitable for FAT disks as well. Try Geit (http://www.geit.de)'s GiggleDisk to automatically generate a mountlist.

 8-)

I've created mountlists for PC formatted Zip, Jaz and CF cards, but hadn't considered using Giggledisk for FAT formatted hard drives :pint:
