Title: Amiga Kit's PCMCIA EasyAdf Adapter
Post by: Prime on July 17, 2008, 12:29:47 AM
I am having trouble with mine.
Are there certain memory sticks that won't work with it?
I have a kingston 2gb.
It recognizes the card as a 1.9 gb device when I try to format it under WB3.1, but I cannot format it, or open it's icon.

When I tried to boot the EasyADF/PCMCIA driver 3 1/2 disk without my hardrive in (was having hd issues), it doesnt even detect the device at all.

Anyone else have any of these issues?

thanks.

The older Kingston cards work OK, but recently Kingston changed the manufacturer of their cards- the new cards (with picture of flower on the front) are no longer compatible with the Amiga.

We sell working, compatible cards in the webstore and as a special deal with the EasyADF CF Transfer Kit (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=440)

I thought the card needed formatting on the PC as FAT....whatever.

Or at least mine did to be able to use it on the PCMIA adaptor.

I had a small hic-cup with my system purchased from AmigaKit (card wouldn't work to start with) but all was sorted out swiftly and it's now working a treat.
