Ouch! :-o

It's rather simple; if you don't like the price, then don't buy it.

Clearly I am not alone! :-D

No, you are not, but you and many others will be {bleep}ing again next year when prices of Amiga hardware has taken a step up once again.

Yes, I am the lucky buyer on this. And I've already payed for it.
I think 75 euro is a fair price. So I would happily also buy this board for the same price.

@Ideal & jimbo100
One auction, and the market has spoken??? Get real.
I sold one exactly like this on amibay about a month ago for 150 EURO.
For 75 EURO I will put the card in storage, and let it sit there.

Thats the spirit, try and gorge as much money as you can out of the dead market.
Thats the Amiga spirit, well done!
-
And is there a point in me giving it away???
-
Absolutely not.
Take it to your grave with you that is what I say ;-)
On a more serious note, I believe that if you're not using something, and want to sell it, it should be at a price you yourself would have liked to pay for it.
I only ever sell things to people I know, people who are real users and are not buying them just sell on at a profit.
I then sell at a price they want to pay and I'm prepared to let it go for, usually many times below market price.

I partly agree with you; I don't set the price after what I would have liked to pay for it, but after what it would take for someone to convince me to sell it to them.
Since some has a big problem with it, it will just stay where it is; here with me.
If a good friend of mine wanted and needed it, he could get it for free.

I bought 2 CyberVision64 3D of Ebay about a month ago for 75 euro each.
So it's not a 1 off and you are too expensive.
-
Don't compare a CV64 with a CV64/3D.
-
Do we really have to hear this every time somebody thinks something is too expensive? If the price is so outrageous that nobody will buy it then the seller will have to either reduce the price or keep the item. If it does sell at a price you're not prepared to pay then it's tough.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
Lesson learned; don't offer items to the community, just stick it on ebay right away.
-
Yes, there's a sucker born every minute. And thanks to eBay, we all know exactly where to find them.
What will eventually happen, though, is this:
1. All the suckers on eBay that overextended their credit by buying overpriced items will eventually need to sell them.
2. The suckers will photograph said items on shag carpet on a dry day after heavy-handing them across the room in bare feet. There's a 50% chance the itmes were cuddle by a cat, too.
3. The cheap suckers (like me) will then buy the damned things anyway, hoping they work at least some of the time.

In defense of the Doctor,
I bought another of his Cybervision 64's (his other board he offered a couple of month's ago)
and he was most pleasant in the transaction, and
packed it well and offered software via download too.
Ganging up on him seems not too fair either.
There are too many thiefs even on Ebay that
take money and deliver zero.
PPC accelerators seem the biggest inflated prices.
I found his board in new condition.

First off I wouldn't compare that CV64/3D either as that is a more valuable card in itself. But in the peoples defence, they could be helping by saying it is steep so that you can get a better idea of today's value for it. If yout wanto rip people off then use eBay, most seem to think there are loonatics on there who will pay over the odds for just about anything that is apparently "ZOMFG RARE!". I saw an Amstrad GX4000 selling for near £80 so why not list the card there rather then asking people on here who have a better idea of true values?
