Title: Micronik PCI A1200 Busboard

Hi all you sweet amiga fans :) i will recive Micronik PCI A1200 Busboard in a few days ! My question is, can i put an old Voodoo Banshee in to one of the two PCI slots, it got ?
Or will that not work ?

..NO ..will not work..On this Bussboard you have support only for Zorro slot..and maybe for ISA..if you have this slot on your busboard revision!

okay, but why are the PCI slots there, if i can't use them ? :) Then i have no use for it, crap, waste of money ! :)

The PCI slots were to be used with an additional expansion that was never released. I imagine it would have been something like Elbox's Logic Card for the Mediator 4000.

crap, then it's useless ! :(

Or can i use an ISA Gfx card, i know they only have 2MB of memrory, but better then nothing ?

The ISA slots aren't "active", meaning they only provide electricity, not a data path.
An old Commodore bridgeboard would let you use an ISA graphics card, but only on the PC side. Drivers exist to use some ISA peripherals, like ethernet and serial cards, on the Amiga side, but not graphics cards.

Why not go for Zorro?

I dont know if you have a Z2 or Z3 bussboard, but if its Z3 just go for it!

Hmm, even if it's the Z3 board, he needs a A4k style accelerator for using Z3, so in the end I guess it will be cheaper just to get a Mediator :-)
