Title: MorphOS on old PPC Mac?
Post by: XDelusion on August 18, 2003, 07:39:29 PM
Not sure where exactly to post this so here we go:

I just picked up an old PPC Mac Performa 6200 CD with Monitor, Printer, Scanner, Keyboard, Mice, Software out the butt, speakers ect. All for a mear $10.00 :)

Anyhow I am now interested in seeing if MorphOS will run on it, so will it? If not, what other OS' can I run on it aside of MacOS?

It would no doubt be an INTERESTING test of AROS' portability, and resource friendly, not to mention a machine you can actually get people to give to you, they go for 1 cent, plus about $45.00 shipping on Ebay even. This could be the areana, that the fight between classic 68k, VS classic PPC hardware! I'd LOVE to benchmark that stuff.
