I have an A1000 keyboard where the F3 key is broken off of. What is the best way to repair it?

You will probably have to completely disassemble it and find  parts from another keyboard with a similar mechanism. It should be too difficult. I have done it with the A500/A2000/A3000 style keyboards.

Doomey has replied in my thread (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=426917#post426917) at EAB that he'd ship a replacement key to me... considering his history is it safe to pm him my address?

I don't see why not. He's not going to go to your house and rob the place. He's not a CC scammer.
