Title: Amiga 500 60 watt psu required,
Post by: miggy1974 on June 18, 2008, 09:39:46 PM
Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anybody on this forum had a spare A500 power supply that they would be willing to sell me as i have alot of various hardware in my A1200 desktop and the stock 25watt psu is to weak to run the harddrive blizzard 1260 and powerflyer gold at the same time and be stable in workbench, not to mention the 1260s speed drops dramatically from 50mhz to 16mhz untill i remove the powerflyer then it is ok again. I would imagine that the powerflyer board takes quite abit of power.

If anybody has an A500 psu which is 60watts please let me know or PM me

Cheers all

Why not just hack peecee AT or ATX PSU using the original cable?

Plenty of power to add everything you want. The less-powered AT PSU have real 135W to give to your Miggy.
