just wana ask a question i got me a 1230IV  with 32
if i put the 128mb on it would it signivicanlty increase how fast it is ?
 i dont know that much about it tbh.
i really want the scsi for it

i didnt have the chance when i was a kid so im going for  a collection now  :crazy:

more ram will never make your card faster unless your computer need it ... If you never use more than 8mb ram 32mb wont boost performance ....

I think you've somewhat confused adding FastRAM and adding RAM. Adding FastRAM (i.e. RAM other than ChipRAM) will boost speed on your A1200. The amount of FastRAM is insignificant as far as speed's concerned though. Still. You can never have too much RAM, although 32Mb FastRAM will take you a long way on an A1200.

(You could however argue a speed increase proportional to the amount of RAM if you're planning to use it as RAD-disks and such, but that would be a different discussion entirely, and wouldn't have anything to do with the perfomance improvement of the hardware as such).

That went for a very good price, seems only yesterday I got mine + SCSI for £45.
