Can anybody please help me how to install virus test to the harddisk?
1) download http://www.vht-dk.dk/vhtdk/amiga/vt/vt317k.lha
2) put it on cf
3) boot up amiga and start easyadf
now what are the following steps?

The file you mention is LhA archive, so you don't need EasyADF to extract it.
Just open a shell and type:
> LhA x vt317k.lha DH0:Tools/ (or enter your desired path, the program you want to be installed)

I guess it doesn't have a special installer then?
But how do i make the program resident than? e.g. i also want it to scan a floppy if i insert it?
Thanks

@ tnk2k
I used this in the past:
http://www.vht-dk.dk/vhtdk/amiga/vz/vz.htm
http://www.vht-dk.dk/vhtdk/amiga/xvs/xvs.htm (library needed by VirusZ III)
If you want to scan a floppy when you insert it, then place the app into the WBStartUp drawer.

Hehehehe.... ;-) 8-)

OK. I'm a little bit lost.
I installed the EasyADF driver. And i can access the files using EasyADF SHOW ALL FILES.
However i can't seem to install the VirusZ or Virus Test lha archive.
I unarchive the lha file to let's say COMPACTFLASHCARD\VIRUS
But now i open a shell and i immedialely get to drawer 'a1200' (i named the harddisk like that). When i 'cd /' i can't get any level higher. So how can i access the compact flash card then?
How does this directory stucture work?

EasyADF as the name says is for ADF (Amiga Disk Files) files only, I pressume. :-D

Look the previous posts... :rtfm:

This is totally peecee.... You must have this: CF0:Virus

On a shell window write:
> CF0: (you will go directly to your CF card)
if you want to go to CF0:Virus you just type in the shell:
> CF0:Virus
How does this directory stucture work?
Let's say that you open a shell you will be here (you named your hard disk "A1200":
A1200: >
Now, everytime you enter a directory and its subdirectories, you can see them on the shell, for example you enter SubDir1 and inside this SubDir2. You will see:
A1200:SubDir1/SubDir2 >
Now if you type:
A1200:SubDir1/SubDir2 > CD / (you will go up one level)
A1200:SubDir1 > <-- (You will see this!)
If you type again:
A1200:SubDir1 > CD / (you will go to the root directory which is A1200:)
You can type also CD //. This means you will go two levels up so you will go to the root directory directly. You can use many "/" as long as the number of subdirectories you are into.
You can always type this (from anywhere you are in a subdirectory....):
>CD : (You will go straight away to the root directory)

Far out. thank you!
Now let's say i'm on CF0. Do i enter DH0 to go back there?
