Hi all, moving house so we will be going WIFI in the house.
I am buying a WIFI router Virgin compatible, the WIFI PCI card ia an ACX111 cipset for our 2 PC`s we got here.
I don't know if the WIFI PCI carf will be compatible with the Amiga.
It don't really matter as the router is both cable and WIFI together.
But having said that it will be nice to get the Amiga WIFI.
I have of course the Mediator SX.
TIA,
Mike.

I might not be totally 100% up to date on the PCMCIA Wifi options on the Amiga, but I think the card that *DO* work, are only WEP capable, meaning no WPA/WPA2 encryption.
I guess this might be extra incentive to pull out my Avaya Gold (World Card Series) PCMCIA and flog it on Ebay as "Amiga Compatible" for that extra selling power the Amiga pulls :)

I think the ones sold at amigakit supports that?
They also come with drivers and software..

I think it's equally plausible, also considering the fact the Amiga doesn't need to get involved in the encryption process at all.

I don't know, but check the datasheet of the standard, or the router itself. Google is your friend

They do as long as they're not locked out in the router's config. G networks are slowed down while B devices are transmitting/receiving however.
