Title: Deneb and USB sound and networking solutions
Post by: mbrantley on June 06, 2008, 04:14:03 AM
Can someone point me to a specific USB sound device and a USB networking device that will work with the Deneb? I don't want to buy the wrong thing.

Has anyone set up networking via Deneb and a USB NIC? I'm online now with an X-Surf card in the same machine as the Deneb. If I can do this with a cheap USB solution instead, I can free up the expensive X-Surf card for another machine that lacks USB.

Also, it looks like new X-Surf cards may have gone scarce again.

There's a big list of compatible network adapters in the comments thread of the Deneb press release here at AO.
