Title: A1200 long post
Post by: unite on June 05, 2008, 07:20:23 PM
About a year or so ago I stripped down my 1200 tower and sold off all my nice parts.  But the other week I decided to build it up again not to the same extent just bought a standard case and keyboard and put it all back together as stock (i only really play games so don't need the power)

For some reason when I hit the power it takes a good 30seconds to post the kickrom screen, as far as I remembered it use to come up in a few seconds not 30 of them.

The only thing not stock is the 3.1roms.  I did notice when building the keyboard connecter is damaged, can't think how it got damaged but the plastic bit that would hold the cable in place is gone so I've had to wedge it in with a bit of cardboard, it's working fine so am not worried but could that be something to do with the long post???
