Title: Burning CD-ROM in Nero (PC) to get full filenames
Post by: Everblue on June 05, 2008, 03:06:51 PM
I have made several coasters trying to burn a CD-ROM on my PC so I can use it on my Amiga (with Squirrel). Everytime, despite the variety of experiments I do, the filenames are truncated on the AMiga, which is strange because my OS3.9 CD files look ok.

Needless to say, on my PC, these files look ok (not truncated).

Is there a way to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help!

use the newer cachecdfs cdrom filesystem from the os3.9 cd and then enable joliet longfilenames in cachecdfs prefs.

Thanks a lot - I just that and now it works. The only nag is that now I get the CD-ROM mounted twice, via CDFS and via Squirrel installation.

How do I remove the Squirrel installation from automounting?

THanks again!
