Title: DENEB in -> ahi.device unstable???
Post by: amiwalker on June 05, 2008, 04:22:36 AM
Ever since I installed the Deneb, I now experience AmigaAmp can't open ahi.device

Sometimes all is fine, but most of the time it complains and won't play any mp3's

Any ideas???

Do you actually use a USB soundcard? Because if you don't, there's nothing interfering with your ahi installation. Poseidon does not even install additional files anywhere or change prefs. You could try removing the usbaudio.class for testing however.

I tried removing usbaudio.class

No luck.

I to now am thinking it has ALL to do with AHI and not anything to do with the DENEB.

Is there an install guide for AHI (link)??

Just copy the contents of the archive to the equivalent locations on your hard drive. C/ to C:, Devs/ to Devs:, etc.

Do you have the latest version (http://arp2.berlios.de/ahi/) installed?
