Does the site need some more moderators. Posts do not seem to get moderated when they should anymore.
Posts do not got moved when in Amiga forums and should be in coffee house.
Maybe I am wrong , but the mods do not seems to be so active these days.
I have offered to be a Mod a few times when they have been looking and offer my services again.
Been around here since 2000

Maybe there's a party going on and we wasn't invited
IMHO the best kind of forum is one where the mods don't need to be highly active, such as here. Free flowing chat topics are so much more easier to participate in, plus it gives the place a much more welcoming atmosphere.
-
I am very active thank you, as I'm sure many other moderators are. Thing is we do not have time to read every post of every single thread. If you see a gross abuse of TOS or something else that needs attention, please PM a moderator. How can we moderate if no one reports?
BTW: afaik only Wayne has the authority to appoint new moderators.

The moderators do a fine job here... I can't really think of any bad/ineffective moderation on this site for years! I think also in a community as mature as this one, the site, to a large extent, moderates itself.
-
Dont get me wrong. I am not having a go in anyway shape or form at the mods here. I thinkt they do a sterling job.
It was more of a question, hence the ???
It might easily as be we dont have as many trolls/nut-jobs etc on here at the moment, so I see lee moderation.
If I have offended any of the mods, especially u aolmurder then tuff

I am a member of some forums where the moderation is so strong, the even a hint of going off topic leds to the post being deleted. That makes one rather reluctant to post, and consequently the forum is rather quiet and not really that helpful.

My point exactly.

Well if you are really good, then maybe... Just maybe, Red will mod you down :-)

ok guys I banned JJ. Let me know if I should let him back in.
  :-)

I think most mods are based in US, so ıt takes time for them to see some weird stuff ...
-
 :-P

I think the moderation is fine here. I agree with the previous posters - people are able to moderate themselves just fine and in the rare instances where people step out of line, they're dealt with (i.e. Doomy).

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me which moderators
are the jealous moderators. I know that I'm a few bricks
shy of a full load but no matter how hard I read I cant
read jealousy in any of the posts or reply's. Is it possible
this "jealous moderators" assessment was inacurate? >:)

I'm still of the opinion that a button along the lines of 'report post' could make the moderators' lives much easier.
-
They're all down in Panama City doing the next video craze, "Moderators Gone Wild". Should bring in millions!
