Post by: barney on June 03, 2008, 03:24:35 AM
Hello, does anybody know where I can get the game "Mean 18" by Accolade.  I know several games are available as ADF's, is this also out there on the net.  If it is downloadable, could sombody show me where I can get it.  Thahks

I just saw a copy for sale on eBay, you could check there.

Requests for illegal download sites on this forum are not permitted, so you will need to ask someone via email or find it on the net for yourself.  Just a friendly reminder of the posting guidelines on Amiga.org.

I don't think you have been here long enough to know all the ropes.

Ok, I just figured that it was released by the developer as abandonware and possible freely downloadable.  Maybe it hasn't been released.  Thanks,

Actually there is no such term (legally) as abandonware.  It gets thrown around a lot, but there is no such thing.  Software is either copyrighted and remains so until the developer releases it to Public Domain, which almost never happens, or it is shareware/freeware in the first place.

Just because a developer no longer actively sells or supports his work does not mean that anyone can now have it for free.
