This thing will go for about it original price or more?

I notice that too. What do you think, a anomaly or just more collectors?
-
TBH all we can see in the auction is an A1000 cardboard box.
I would never buy an expensive item without multiple high res close up images....

@ddniUK
I know. You could carefully open the box and show the basics...
This item went up, hit about 275.00 and then the auction was 'reset' by the seller apparently. I bid on it when it was like 70.00 bucks. Then I got this (is this weird / unusual?):

Good news. You've got another chance to win item Commodore Amiga 1000 Computer

EDIT - and looks like it's over again even though it said jun 6 - friday, hmmm.
-
The first time it was listed they said it was new. Now they are not.
-
It isnt new old stock, so taking it out of the box for a few pictures would be easy...
Having missed two chances to add pictures (each time the auction was reset)makes me highly suspicious of the auction.
-
They also say that it's untested and then immediately after that it's tested and working. I'd avoid this one, if it's re-listed again.

Yeah it sure would suck to drop $300 on a "new" A1K, only to find a dirty, yellowed POS in the box. :D
Nice A1K's are fairly plentiful though.

These are rare in the UK but even so that's rather alot for a bit of a dated hardware.
