Title: Redhat 5.1 m68k Amiga - CD Dream n°57
Post by: CLS2086 on May 31, 2008, 07:53:03 PM
So,
I also try to install it on my A2000 (A2000 ECS/FF-40/32mb/GVP impactII + 9.6Gb/Vlab/Buddha Flash/....)

I prepared well the SWAP (96mb) and Linux (650mb) partions.

I added a CDRW drive on the GVP , it needs 2 times to probe the scsi chain, it found it well but the installer always told me that the CDrom is not a RedHat CD ...

Then I created the supp.img floppy for the hdd install method. Then i scanned the hdd and told me that they were no
50mb partition left for Linux !!
Then it proposed me to use its FDISK, i checked and it well found all my partitions and the types were good...

I'm lost !  :-?

I try again and exchanging the position of "swap" and "linux", but this time it told me that it didn't find a linux native partition ...
But the partition really exist, and even the Fdisk told me that partitions types are ok well setted...
