Does anyone have a pinout for the PSU connector on the A4000T motherboard, or know if it is wired the same way as a pc power supply?
-
another question: where/how does the ports module connect to the motherboard on these systems? There doesn't seem to be an obvious place to insert the two sets of two rows of pins coming off of it. I was thinking that it probably connects to two headers the same size numbered CN550 and CN560 over by the power connector via a cable, but I really have no idea.

This should help I guess.

cool - so this seems to indicate that the a4000t uses an unmodified PC AT style power supply, given it says to use an atx to at adapter. I think I'll just use the one the AT form factor case I'm getting for it comes with.. :) I'd really like to get one of these (http://www.addtronics.com/wtx8500.htm) but it's just way too costly despite the fact that it weighs more by itself than my dual-xeon ibm server...

I exchanged my A2000 PSU with a normal AT PSU, except for the TICK signal (which the A4000 doesn't have/use) it was a pretty straight forward job.

thanks, guys; knowing I will not have to mod the supply or get any adapter helps quite a bit! :) Now i just have to find someone out there with an A4000T who can tell me about that ports board... anyone? it's the PCB that the mouse port, serial and parallel port are on...
