Hey blanning,

How did those A2000's work out for you? Also, did you snag the A1000 that was out in Orland Park... I was trying to get that!  :-x    :-D

Does minimig need special code for every game to work right?

Both 2000s work.  One had a DKB Megachip upgrade for 2mb chip ram:

http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=992

It also had a gvp 030 board with extra memory and a scsi hard drive, plus a toaster board and this weird video capture thing with a dedicated ide hard drive.  The other was more plain with just an a2091 with some extra memory.  Both had perfect batteries.

I've removed the batteries and started taking them apart and cleaning.  I'm going to reassemble one with the best parts from both machines, then either keep the other as a spare or ebay it.  I haven't decided yet.  Since you're local, if you want one of the 2000s, maybe we can make a deal?

I ended up with two mice and a keyboard.  The monitor is junk, but there was a 20" jvc studio program monitor that it looks like i'll be able to use.  The picture on that looks great.  Just waiting on some cables.

I tried to get the 1000 also, but it was gone already.

I'm also talking to a guy with a 1200 and a 4000, but I haven't heard from him in a couple days.  I'm not sure what he wants for them either.

Damn, I didn't know about "Elite Advanced v1.2".  I've tracked down an ADF of it and I'll test that on the Minimig when I get home.

Code?  I used a cracked ADF image for testing (enter anything for the keyword) and off you go.  My original Amiga Elite disk is DOA, but I still have the manual somewhere (and a PC version too).

No, the minimig should work with any OCS compatible game that you put on the disk as an adf :-D Though you cannot write to an adf as that hasn't been implemented yet but people seem to think that it should be feasible.
