Title: PPC Boards for sale
Post by: a1200 on May 26, 2008, 01:21:57 PM
If they are in stock, they are not too badly priced:

What do you think?

Hi I have been to that site on many occasions. They are always out of stock...

I think they are all out of stock.

Clicking on individual items shows the stock status.

Regards

Rich

EDIT: Quick-draw-DDNI beat me to it ;-)

I'm thinking they're not in stock. I see the latest item on their news page is from august 2006... you can probably dig up other old pages listing PPC boards for sale.

It really amazes me that these threads pop up regularily.

Well, the Amiga community is quite unique in that it's the only one I'm aware of whose vendors routinely advertise products they haven't had even a hope of having in stock for the past 10 years...

People not realizing this practice is commonplace for the Amiga are easily confused.   :crazy:

"This product is “out of stock”, but you can pre-order the product, then when it arrives with us we’ll dispatch it to you."

@1NOM155
What is the possibilities that BPPC ever will get in stock?

I wouldn't even put the odds that high...

It's upsetting for me to think i'l probably never own a PPC card. I will probably have to make do with a PCI expansion for the A4000.

@ bloodline, I'd probably never afford such a thing, that's what i'm saying considering how much the prices are blown out of reality.
