hi all, I just got a subway usb adapter and installed it in my a1200, for the first 20 mins it worked fine, then after a reboot, seems to have died. I tested it out with a mouse and a usb CF card reader and it worked fine. but no noting shows on the WB when I plug in the card reader and the mouse fails to power up at all, does anyone have a clue how I can fix this?
thanks

This sounds like a lack of power. Is it used with a desktop or tower system?
-
no, its in a wedge case. It worked fine last night for about 20 mins, but this morning, nothing.
-
I tried it with a powered device and still nothing.
-
What does Trident report? Is the Subway online?
You should be using a high rated PSU with this otherwise you could put significant strain on the Subway / motherboard.
-
Trident dosnt work either, it just says "can not open window"
-
You need to install MUI- you also need to ensure PSDStackloader is loaded from ENVARC: on Startup of Workench.
-
I have MUI, and user-startup says
ENVARC:PsdStackLoader
where should that file be located on my HD?
thanks for the help BTW
-
Path in:
Sys:prefs/env-archive/psdstackloader
Install MUI and run Trident
-
ok trident is up and running, where does it say if its connected or not?
-
never mind, after playing around with trident for a bit I have it working again. Thanks for your help tough I was afraid I would have to send it back to you coz it was busted.
thanks again for the help though
