Hi all,
I will be getting a few quid soon like £150.00
Will an Efika mobo take OS4 ? or not?
I am trying to get a powerful Amiga setup far more powerful than what I have now (see signature)
It is near impossible to get a PPC card.
TIA,
Mike.

It's probably capable of running it, but OS4 won't actually boot because of stupid restrictions.
For now you'll have to use Linux on it, until MorphOS or AROS is ported to the EFIKA.

Yup, Infact i'm not sure why MOSTeam can't release a small demo ISO or "preview"... The people who bought Efika's have waited for ages...
Oh well.
But yeah, Linux would be fine on it for now... However if I had £150 i'd be tempted to get a nice new motherboard, cpu and RAM :-D (Core 2 Duo perhaps?) :-P

I have tried a few linux installations for the Efika.
I actually had quite a bit of fun building a sexy case.
I have had some fun, but am waiting for MOS, or AROS.
MOS will apparently be available by Q2, so it shouldn't be too long now.
AROS, was supposed to ported to EFIKA a few days ago, maybe its very close to completion.
