What's the best way to get a disk image on a PC into an amiga? I'm thinking maybe the catweasel? Or is there PC software that can write to amiga 880k disks? or maybe a laplink style serial connection?
Eventually I'll have a network connection and probably usb support, but for now, it's a ship in a bottle.

If you have an A1200 or A600, then the EasyADF CF Transfer Kit (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=787) is the best way.
You could use a Serial Transfer Cable (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=787) for big box Amigas.

I use AmigaKit's EasyADF CF Transfer Kit and it is a breeze to use. Best item I have bought for transferring data between the PC and Amiga ever. I highly recommend it and AmigaKit!

I have two 2000s at the moment that I picked up last night. I still need a monitor also. As soon as I digest those systems, I'll be buying a new 1200 from you guys. The serial cable looks like a good alternative until I get properly setup.

If you have an HD floppy on the Amiga you can copy the disk image over using CrossDOS.
If you are restricted to a low density Amiga floppy drive then run WinUAE on the PC and use LHA to save the disk image out into two parts that will fit on a low density PC floppy. Use CrossDOS on the Amiga to read the floppy and LHA to put the two pieces back together.

They're more or less stock 2000s. I'm thinking they didn't have high density drives, right?

Yea, you are probably right there!

You don't need a high density drive in order to use CrossDOS, it works fine with 720k formatted DD disks.

Or, you could get the A2000's networked, then just pull the image from the PC onto the A2000 and write it straight to floppy disks or extract it to a HDD :-D
I do the same kinda thing with my A1200.
