Title: Golden Gate without ISA
Post by: quenthal on May 22, 2008, 03:39:52 PM
Do Golden Gate or any other PC-board work without ISA connectors on the busboard, or are they required for operating voltage or some other reason?

I'd would be intrested to run Golden Gate on Mediator 4000 busboard, but naturally there ain't any ISA-slots, only PCI and ZIII.

It should work with Zorro connection only. ISA is for communication with additional PC cards, also support power to the Golden Gate. I think the Zorro part will provide enough voltage and amps to run the card alone.
