Title: Help for installing a Voodoo4 on A4000T
Post by: Phantom on May 19, 2008, 06:21:37 PM
I would appreciate if anyone will give me a simple guide how to install a Voodoo4 PCI card on my A4000T. I did exactly what the guide on MMCD said, but my Amiga can't recognize the card. Any ideas?

Also can anyone tell me how I must set the jumpers on the CoreLogic card of the Mediator?

I have set the following:

MASTER - Closed (No SharkPPC)
SWAPINFO - Opened (No Zorro3 GFX Card installed)
WINSIZE - Closed (For use with Voodoo4 or Voodoo5 cards)

I hope that they are correct.

I have the same problem with my voodoo5 atm...
It worked fantastically the fist time i set up the mediator, but now nada, i managed to almost get it up once, but then the a4k crashed... But it seems to be something with p96 and or drivers from elbox.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling p96 according to the voodoo45 guide, thats when i got a response from p96.

Sorry I can't help really, but I also had problems installing a Voodoo4500 in my A1200.

It worked a couple of times while I had the Tower apart, but it just closed down as soon as I put everything together!

I now have a Voodoo5500 and it works just fine.

I just followed a thread, in which Daniele had the same problem. I did the same things mentioned and it worked. Just ignore Step 3 from the Voodoo.Guide from the MMCD from Elbox. Thanks!!!
