Hello again everybody. I have a simple question I know sombody probably knows the answer to.
I am looking at installing Kickstart 3.1 ROMS in my Desktop Amiga 3000 and I have a small question. My current configuration is I softboot kickstart 2.04 from the hard drive. I want to install the new Kickstart 3.1 roms but I am not sure how to do it.
My A3000 has the ROM tower with the 1.4 kickstart roms. Do I remove the tower and install the new 3.1 roms or do I remove the 1.4 roms and put the new ones in their place. Anybody can help I would appreciate it. thanks
Barney

You might try reading the information that Softwarehut has regarding Rom installtion.

... And sorry, careful with that ROM tower. I have an A3000UX trashed motherboard here cus some idiot cracked it trying to remove the tower.

On closer inspection of the motherboard I found a crack below the ROM tower.
With care, as ever.
PS I got ane motherboard without the ROM tower then spent an age getting the kickstart disk :-)
