Title: DPaint v.27

I recently won an auction for an original package for Deluxe Paint.  I used to have one from when we got our A1000, but lost it to water damage, sadly.  This one will probably be framed for my office.

Anyway, I'm looking at the imagery on the cover, and there's a screenshot on the back with the titlebar that reads

>DPaint< V.27

Have any pre-release versions ever made it out into the wild, like there have with Kickstart/Workbench?  I've got v27 and v29 of those, along with an Electronic Arts demo from around that time as well... but I've never seen pre-release of DPaint...

Yep.  The standard flat DPaint 1 packaging.  Look on the screenshot on the back.  :)

Mine has the manual cover removed; which I remember was required for the DPaint 2 upgrade... I see that yours still has the cover intact... I haven't seen the cover to that manual since the late 80s. :D

Man... I love DPaint.
