I picked up an A2000 with Toaster and when I try to load the Switcher, I get a "could not obtain Switcher font" error. I copied over the fonts from the Toaster disk, but still get the error.
Any advice?

You might be out of chip RAM - the Toaster needs a lot and the A2000 doesn't have much by default. Also, to where did you copy fonts from the disk?

Hmmm, this is supposed to be a working Toaster system. So I would have thought it would have the necessary chip RAM. How would I go about discovering if I have enough?
I copied the fonts into the SYS/Fonts folder and overwrote the existing Switcher font from the first Toaster disk.

How much chip RAM is available before you start the Toaster? (What follows "graphics mem" in the Workbench toolbar before you load the Toaster?)
The Toaster FAQ (http://www.dbline.it/faqs/toaster/ta2000.html) might be useful as well.

I'll check tonight when I get home.

I got it working!
