can some one show me the right zorro slot to fit this video card into?
The computer is an A4000/040 desktop.

It works in ALL zorroIII slots.
If you are using a Buster9 and your CV64 version is more or less modern perhaps you could try to change the CV64 jumper that switches from Buster11 to older Busters. I can't remember if it was JP1 or what...

Thank you very much. My buster version is 11 so I think I'd have no problems at all :-)

Is the card listed in Early Startup Control > Expansion Board Diagnistic?
Should be something like this:
1 8512 XX Working
I do have CV64-3D, dont know the procuct ID of CV64.

Ok another question:
how do I connect the cables now? I mean vga cable from cv64 to a vga monitor and nothing else?
Do I have to connect the standard Amiga video port to an Amiga monitor too?
Or do I have to connect the standard Amiga video port to the CV64 through the vga adapter and then connect the cv64 to the vga monitor?
Any help would be wonderful :-)
