Hi everybody,
anyone knows how to manage .dms files?
I've downloaded CyberVision 64 drivers disks from "Amiga Hardware Database" but they are, as I told, dms files.
I want to obtain the original disks from such files: how can I do this?
Thank you very much in advance

Download DMS from aminet, run it and then copy dms to c:
then type DMS write filename.dms
or DMS write filename.dms TO rad: if you want to unpack to Rad: instead of DF0:

you should be able to get the software for "Disk Masher System" compressed floppy images off of aminet.net
look for 'undms' or similar, if you're not happy with shell based commands, look for 'dmsgui' and see what that gives you.
it should ask you to put a disk into drive dfx, and uncompress direct to floppy disk. or if the software you have supports one, setup a rad: drive and uncompress to that. much faster.

Thank you very much for your help
I found an old software from my old personal Amiga programs bunch: DMSWin.
It seems to be good for my purpose, isn't it?

sounds good, not sure about the "win" part though. DMS for windows?

I have just to figure out how to make it work :-)

You can download (from Aminet...) the TSgui program. It handles .dms, .hdf(!), and .adf files, with a nice window, and even correct bad traces (retry to write) to floppy.
And it write to any device you want, also! Even RAD: and "virtual floppy" archives.

Yep! You've lots to choose from :-)
Packmaster (http://aminet.net/search?query=packmaster) is another one 8-)

My A4000 crashed as soon as I tried to use it.
I used DMSUI instead. It works good.
