Title: can anyone tell me what this is?
Post by: swoslover on May 10, 2008, 08:50:28 PM
I got it in amongst a job lot of amiga/st/c64 items.

It's an interface pack model s2(8304).

A google search proved fruitless.

Although I did get an image here.

I have that same internal SD/FF in my A1200T.  I think you have it orientated the right way in the photo, but I'll have to check when I get home (at the end of the month).

Isn't the socket keyed to the diagonally cut corner of the Lisa chip?

PS - no idea on the mystery machine, but the battery (image 1) can be removed by gently rocking it back and forth until the single leg breaks, then rocking it left and right until the double leg fails. Alternatively, use a pair of nail clippers to remove the single leg, then rock left and right until the double leg fails.

I've seen similar looking boxes with centronix at one end and another connector at the other end slotted into general PC commercial printers a long time ago. Maybe it could be some sort of printer adaptor or controller card, perhaps?

Just a thought,
Hodgkinson.

That looks JUST like the Centronics I/F for the Citizen 120D needle printer I once had...
Very nice little printer actually, I was sad when I sold it for a DeskJet 550C.

sorry to disappoint guys it's not my site.  Was the only place I could find a relevant pic.

Anyway I think it has come from a citizen 120d printer thanks.

Hi

I really need to update that page. The 1060 is a rare beast indeed and one I have been searching for some some time.

I think I ticked off everything else on that page.
