Hi.
I try to start x-surf network card.
First I install "MiamiDX", then I run "Install X-Surf" program from CD and install drivers for MiamiDX, and reboot.
I start test program and he say, that card detected, but without 16bit memory. does it normal?

Hi,
I also use the x-surf card in my A4000D and often have the same problem that Miami can not access the card via x-surf.device.
In my case it is a zorro bus contact problem, mostly a little shaking the card or pull out a bit and push back into the slot will solve this.
Please only do this while the Amiga is switched off!
Perhaps cleaning the bus contact pad-lines of x-surf card with a cotton cloth can help too.
If this error is permanent you should check the x-surf card in other slots or maybe in another Amiga (2000-4000).
It dont look like a big problem because the general communication is present because the Zorro and ISA parts can be found.

I had the same problem as boing4000. Removing and reseating the card fixed my problem. This one took a while to work out because the card showed up in the startup menu.
