Hey- I got word that the timetable screens in Brisbane are all controlled by a bank of Amiga1200's... Can anyone identify the program?
I would have guessed Scala, with some scripts etc for the timetabling... until I tried it myself (Scala not so friendly!)
Is it maybe a dedicated timetable program?

They used to have something similair in my local hospital waiting areas.
They were all running version of Scala on a dedicated 1200. A script was loaded from floppy that could be changed with predefind scripts on various floppies and then the program was restarted.
It was ok until someone picked the wrong floppy up
