Title: A1200 tower and SCSI controller
Post by: flaviosr on May 02, 2008, 10:58:03 AM
Hi,

very quick question.
Apart the Blizzard accelerator cards SCSI kits, which other SCSI controller can I use with my Amiga tower (Zorro II)?
I tried my GVP 2000 HC+8 Rev. 4.15 but my best result has been to see the Amiga started (without any device or RAM connected to the card... :(((...)

Thank you

Well you could use a squirrel PCMCIA SCSI. They are great for cdroms but no good for Boot HD

You can use a Dataflier PLUS (http://bboah.amiga-resistance.info/cgi-bin/showhardware_en.cgi?HARDID=544) in one Zorro II slot. Although it is slow.

Or any Z-II SCSI controller as well.

None (of which would make any sense speedwise).
