Title: Anybody from France? help!
Post by: Dragster on April 29, 2008, 06:40:30 AM
Hi!

A friend of mine sent 4 Amiga 4000 motherboards to Jean Jaques B. in france for repair via DHL (trakcing # 6845161293) but DHL cannot find the location for some reason, the address my friend sent the boards is OK, so he's in risk of getting the boards back and lose his money. We've been trying to contact Jean Jaques with no luck, he doesn't reply our emails. Could anybody in France help us? Maybe calling JJB or if you can send us his phone # I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Dragster (on behalf of Julio, my friend).

Man that's bad! DHL sucks; they lost a CS-PPC from me once...

Problem is that you can't really do anything about except for complaining to DHL a lot and hope they find their post again.

Hi,
it seems to be in vacancy till mid May.

I got toons of problems with DHL/GLS and some others "express" delivery society...
They "flash" preventively the packet, often did not put any proof of passage to speed up their way, don't wait more than 30s that you appear even if all windows are open, and time to time don't "come" at all...

 :pissed:

Are you sure about the non-delivery ?
A similar thing hapened to us 2 weeks ago with a packet from Italy by Chronopost... My parents had called Chronopost France, because it was shown as delivered too, but in fact it was at the local post office "depot".
So we called the local post office, but the Chronopost service is fully "apart"... dedicaced to someone that got the stock key and which comes time to time per day...
So we came to the office, and oh the packet was avaible ...
