Title: Snapshot of WB background in OS 3.9
Post by: Kristian95 on April 27, 2008, 06:23:57 AM
I'd like to have the WB clock in the lower right corner of the screen when I boot OS 3.9. I have tried moving it there and make a snapshot but that doesn't work. How can I make it stay in the position on the screen I prefer every time I boot ??

I think you did something wrong. Start WBClock, drag it
to the place where you want and choose Icon/snapshot from
the workbench menu. That works for me.

drats, I have tried that a few times already... will give it a go again :)

Btw, is there a way to always start the WB screen with the "backdrop" option enabled ??

Yeah sure. Select the backdrop option. Then goto the
windows menu and select snapshot/window.

double dang, I have tried your suggestions prior to you suggesting them and now tried them again... no luck... it does not work in my system :( Are there some files that might be write protected or something like that ??

Same answer as in your amidock thread. Check if .prefs
files in Sys:Prefs/Env-archive/sys are write-protected.
