I have tried to get my 486slc GG Bridgeboard to start so I could configure the setup program without success for the last two days and have come to the conclusion that it no longer works and needs to be repaired.
Any ideas of where and who I should send it to for such repairs? Is there anyone that still works on such things.
I would prefer someone in the US, but realize that I may have to send it to Europe to find someone that knows anything about them.

JJ in Amiga Center (France) is the only "trustable" repair center I can think of.
Never, ever, send the gear to Doomy! You'll miss your gear forever...

I just remembered I couldn't get my board working either and the factory glued on fan had come off of the CPU when I received it. Suspecting the CPU may have gotten too hot I wanted to try my Cyrix 486SRX2 upgrade. Sadly the glue was covering the edge of the CPU and some of the pins so the upgrade could not be applied. In careful attempt to remove the blue glue (It's like cement) from the CPU I damaged a couple of the SMT legs. Don't even try it it won't come off!
Now that I had committed myself to a mess, I decided to remove the CPU from the Vortex board and also from the Cyrix Upgrade carrier. Next I soldered the Cyrix 486SXR2 directly on the Vortex board and it works great! Still, it will only work in the top slot of my 4000D and only with the version of software that Keropi sent to me. I couldn't get it to work in either my A3000D or any other slot in the 4000. I don't recommend replacing the surface mount CPU unless you are experienced with soldering, it was quite stressful without a hot-air machine.
Here are pictures of my board working after the CPU replacement but before the proper 9 chip parity ram was installed.

Someone recently said they sent there to Amiga Center in France and JB wasn't able to fix it. Might have been Keropi. I'll send you the software I have that works if you give me an email.
Keep trying it's a nice board once you get it running.
