Title: Need tutorial for graphics enchance.

Hi.

I ask you to post some tips or tutorials to complete enchance amiga workbench, to some as i see on "amikit" and another preinstalled AmigaOS distribution.

Screenshots is very impressive, and i want to understand, what tools, doc's and other soft i need install and how step by step i must it set up.

PS. i need this for my wiki. i started documentation and tips project, about amiga computers, in russian language - amiwiki.spb.ru. Most of it is translation from other languages.

do a search of the forums. Theres a thread somewhere which tells you how to make workbench look good and what tools you should have on it

And what do i need to create wonderful menu, cool icons, beautiful window decoration, and so and so, as i see on many and many screenshots on this site?

I think that on the amikit.amiga.sk website there is a list of  programs included in AmiKit.
This should give you some idea on what tools are used for the 'eyecandy' stuff. And several of the addons echances the user interface as well.

There a more then 300 program and no sush thing like little howto or tutorial. It's looks impossible to me, to understand how to build this system.

I remember a program called "birdie" that could patch some of the glyphs in the workbench to make it prettier.  Maybe that would help you get started.

Do a search (on this site and your preferred search engine) for the following programs.  This is not an exhaustive list.  You will also find out about other programs.  When you have a go at installing and using these tools, you may have some more specific questions that we can help you with.

Visual Prefs
Birdie
New Icons
Def Icons
Magic Menu
Tools Daemon
Magic CX
Happy ENV

You'll probably also want to get a paint package (try searching for Personal Paint on Aminet) and check out things like Mason Icons (?sp) and other icon packages (on Aminet and the web).

no, this is not how to improve visual, its how to speedup aos. i completly read this topic, and already translate it and create page on rus.wiki.
