Check out Commodore Gaming's website, here:

This is a great way to sell games. I know this post isn't about a specific game, but with regards to games, doesn't Amiga currently offer some sort of mini-UAE affair that when you install/run it on a Windows PC, it just comes up as one or more old Amiga games?
I remember talking to McEwen and him being hyped on this product, and I thought 'Finally, he's starting to get it!!'
So, if they have this product (do they really? Has anyone here bought one?) why aren't they marketing it like this with a fancy website such as C= Gaming's site referenced above?
Seems like if they did, they'd be on the right track to appealing for the first time to the heavily niche market that they expensively bought into, yet totally and repeatedly failed to grasp.
Maybe they're planning on doing it, or already have?

Why would Amiga do this? It's against all the rules for a start (M$ Windows), second you would be compeeting with yourself basically (Amiga Super Gaming PC's vs Commodore Gaming Super PC's). Finally, it would be a waste of money. An un-reliable way to invest in a buisiness.

What rules is it against? The only known product of Amiga Inc are 15 old Amiga games converted to run on the PC. They do dotNet development in India. The current Amiga Inc has *never* produced anything but PC software. The only rule Amiga Inc has is that whatever they do must be PC compatible.

Amiga.Inc is a complete mess at the moment if I say so myself.

Why would I want a PC to run old Commodore games when I can get an Alienware PC?
Alienware PC (http://www.alienware.com/Product_Pages/desktop_all_default.aspx)
I think this PC is the one I want:

Ugly.

Alianware is a rip off. I'd much rather build my own so I get to know my computer phisically aswell as virtually. Not to mention it's much better value.

"Why aren't Amiga doing this?"
Um, because Amiga Inc. sucks and couldn't sell free beer to save their assess.
:pint:

FWIW Commodore is going bankrupt, again.
